Bitmojoi's in the Classroom

One of the first assignments I had for this class this semester was to create a "digital me" project. There are plenty of ways to introduce yourself to a class using technology, and my classmates and I got to pick one, and use it to introduce ourselves. I chose to use Bitmoji, which is a fun way to create a digital representation of yourself. These are often used when text messaging and while on social media, but they can be used in the classroom as well! You can have your students create their own personal Bitmoji, and then use the character in a comic book. The Bitmojis work really well for this kind of project, as they've very visual and creative. The students would have a lot of fun writing a comic book about their own characters, and it would improve their writing skills and give them an awesome project to take home and always have! You could also use Bitmojis right on the first day of school. The teacher should make their own, and then present it to the class. Then, the students can each create their own, and present those to the class. There are many ways that Bitmojis can be used in the classroom, and they are very effective in engaging 21st century learners.
