Reflection on the Semester

It's crazy that I've now completed both Dr. Smirnova courses at Mount Saint Mary College now. These classes are demanding, but very beneficial to me as a future educator. These classes have kept me awake countless nights, but I got a ton out of the course. I became much more comfortable teaching in front of my peers, which was a weakness of mine previously. I also became much better writing lessons and units for my students. The main thing I will take out of this course is the amount of technology I can implement in my instruction. Programs like mentimeter, voki and thinglink are all valuable tools for teachers to use to help 21st-century learners pick up information. I will most certainly use all of these tools and more, and will keep my eyes and ears open for more along the way!
